Blooma

Blooma is a foraging App designed to help users understand and identify flora and fauna in nature in New Hampshire. By using the camera on their device, users can scan surrounding plants, stones, tracks, and animals to identify them. After the unknown item is scanned the app will display important key information. This information will include the name, an image, a description, whether it is safe to interact with, and where the plants or animal is native to.

The app will be designed for campers, hikers, and other avid outdoorsmen to identify and understand unknown organisms or objects in nature. The app is designed as an education tool as well and will be accessible and easy to use for all age groups. For users planning a camping or hiking trip, by inputting the location of where the trip will be located the app will show plants to steer clear from before they arrive.
